Branch manager Troy Peters said the Commonwealth Bank's people are committed to driving positive change within their communities to make a difference locally and for all Australians.
"Over the next few months, Commonwealth Bank has again pledged to donate $500,000 nationally to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work," Mr Peters said.
Each Commonwealth Bank branch and customer-facing team has been allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local community.
Parkes branch team voted to support the great work of Georgie's Pantry.
"With the festive season approaching, it's a timely opportunity for us to show our support for Georgie's Pantry," Mr Peters said.
"In particular, supporting local farmers, so it's great to be able to give back and support this work."
Georgie's Pantry offers free groceries to farmers every Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
