Monthly Meeting: PDJCA meeting is set down for 7pm on Monday, November 11 at the Parkes Services Club. Please ensure your team is represented at this meeting to avoid deduction of competition points.
Representative Cricket: The Lachlan Cricket Council Inter-town competitions for under 14s and under 12s for 2019/2020 begins on Sunday, November 10 with Parkes hosting games against Forbes in under 14s at Woodward Oval and Wellington in under 12s at Keast Park 2.
Both games are scheduled to start at 10am so players need to report to their coaches by 9.15am on Sunday morning. Players need to bring along lunch and drinks for the day. Prior to the start of play, each player will be presented with a Parkes Representative Shirt proudly sponsored by McDonalds Parkes. These shirts are to be worn during Representative games and returned to team managers at the end of the representative season. Final Parkes teams will be announced after training at Woodward oval and Nets at 5pm Thursday.
During the 2019/2020 season: Parkes under 12s will play in a North/South competition involving teams from Dubbo Blue, Dubbo White and Wellington (North Division), Cowra, Forbes, West Wyalong and Condobolin (South Division). Their competition will involve 32 overs a side games as well as some 20/20 games. Parkes under 14s will play against teams from Forbes, Cowra, Dubbo Blue, Dubbo White and a combined Condo/West Wyalong team. Their games will be 40 overs a side.
