NSW Police rural crime investigators from Parkes Police Station say the 45 ewes were taken from a property at Trewilga during the past month.
"A number of fences were cut during the theft," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
"The ewes were tagged [see photo below], however the colour of the tags on the stolen animals was red."
Detective Inspector Whiteside has urged anyone with information to contact Parkes Police Station on 6862 9999 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
