In the past week Forbes Junior Cricket has had a big increase in the number of new players.
This has resulted in a restructure of the PDJCA competitions and formation of Parkes teams.
The executive of Parkes Junior Cricket welcomes the extra Forbes players to the PDJCA competitions by recognising the fact that the competitions can only benefit by the inclusion of greater player numbers.
The executive have worked hard to create the revised teams and draws for the 2019/20 season.
The New Parkes Teams are -
Under 17s
Parkes Cats - Harry Bayliss, Harrison McGregor, Tyler Yeo, Jasper Moore, Maddy Spence, Geordie Duncan, Hunter Hawke, Ryan Mackenzie, Arthur Watt and Ben Cooper.
Coach - Clinton Hawke, Manager - Graeme Bayliss and Scorer - Kerry Spence.
Parkes Colts - Royce Simpson, Abigail Simpson, Zayne Ehsman, Brody Clarke, Liam Moody, Ryan Dunford, Joseph Tanswell, Cody Kirk, Zac Larkins and Cooper Towns.

Excellent Start to Season for Parkes Juniors
The weekend of October 18-19 saw a terrific start to the new cricket season for Parkes Junior cricketers.
Under 17s - a top match was played under the splendid new lighting system at Woodward Oval on Friday evening. The scores were -
Parkes Colts 5/86 in 26 overs (Joseph Tanswell 31, Liam Moody 19n.o, Royce Simpson 13, Hunter Hawke 3/12 off 4 overs, Geordie Duncan 1/3 off 2 overs) defeated Parkes Cats 7/79 in 18 overs (Hunter Hawke 26, Geordie Duncan 15, Harry Bayliss 14, Royce Simpson 2/11 off 3 overs, Zayne Ehsman 1/5 off 2 overs).
Meanwhile Saturday morning saw two outstanding training/skills sessions for Parkes under 13s and under 10s.
Leading Parkes cricketer Peter Yelland master minded a wonderful session at Woodward Oval for under 13 players.
Peter was assisted by excellent coaches such as Mark Heraghty, Scott Knights and Paul Moody who put the players through a series of skill development sessions covering many aspects of the game of cricket.
At Keast Park Paul Dunford, Luke Clarke and Israel Symington (all top representative cricketers) ran a training/skills session for 30 plus keen under 10 players.

Representative Trials
This Sunday aspiring Parkes u14 and u12 representative players should report to North Parkes Oval on Sunday for trials in their respective age groups.
The trials will start at 9am sharp.
Parkes coaches will be keen to select their players to play against Forbes in Parkes in Round 1 of the Lachlan Cricket Council Inter-town competition on Sunday, November 10.
