That's why they're encouraging Parkes businesses involved in the Mining, Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) and resources sector to attend an upcoming industry consultation this Thursday.
The free workshop is being held as part of the Orana and Central West O2N Export Hub Project.
RDA Orana Director of Regional Development Megan Dixon said the O2N Export Hub is an exciting initiative which will support industry development.
"The aim of the project is to support the development of METS and resources for businesses across the region," she said.
"This in turn will improve sustainability, increase investment, connect businesses and expand the potential for collaboration."

The Parkes event is one of five workshops to be held across the Orana and Central West regions during October. Other workshops will be held in Mudgee on October 15, Dubbo on October 16 and Orange on October 18. The fifth was held in Cobar on October 2.
The hub consultation will include one-on-one mentoring, connecting local businesses with government export services, matching investment with innovations, business planning for export readiness and advice on product development.
The workshop runs from 6.30am to 10am and includes breakfast and networking at the Railway Hotel in Parkes.
