Magpies defeated Rovers Gold 4-2 in the decider and Star Budgies were too strong for Magpies Black running away with a 7-4 victory in a high-scoring, very entertaining men's grand final.
In the A grade women's grand final Magpies found themselves back in the winner's circle after defeating Rovers Gold 4-2.
Rovers were first on the scoreboard after Casey Miles converted a penalty corner she was instrumental in forcing.
Magpies struck back to level the scores after India Draper converted a penalty corner.
Magpies took a 2-1 lead after Peta Fagan jumped upon a rebound from a Draper penalty corner shot.
Merryn Unger levelled the scores after she dragged the keeper to slot the ball into the back of the net.
The mid-field was a real contest with Alyssa Miller, Sarah Hartin, Savannah Draper and Meghan Searl doing plenty of running.
Magpies were able to finish the match off with India Draper converting another penalty corner and Meg Turner scoring a nice field goal.
Savannah Draper was awarded player of the match with Meghan Searl and Peta Fagan also playing strongly.
Best for Rovers were Casey Miles, Judy Kross and Tash Tanks.
In the A grade men's grand final Koby Johnstone opened the scoring in the third minute converting a penalty corner with an impressive drag flick to give Magpies an early 1-0 lead.
Ten minutes later, Jack Elliott levelled the scores with a drag flick of his own.
Budgies continued to pressure in attack and were rewarded with goals through a Jack Elliott penalty corner conversion and a field goal to Andrew Bourke.
Will Searl brought Magpies back to a one goal margin scoring after an impressive solo run.
Nic Milne took Budgies to the break with a 4-2 lead after finishing off some smart work by Elliott.
Magpies were first to score after half time with Jason Wright cracking a shot from the backline to the delight of his team-mates.
Nic Milne took his individual tally to 2 goals with a nice shot into the corner of the goal-mouth to see Budgies move to a 5-3 lead.
Will Searl looked like he would keep Magpies in the match scoring a nice diving deflection goal but it was not to be with Elliott finishing off a brilliant match scoring another 2 goals to give Budgies a 7-4 grand final win.
Jack Elliott was a well-deserved player of the match for Budgies with Nick Milne and Jacob Townsend also playing strongly.
Best for Magpies were Will Searl, Tim Wright, Scott Forbes and Koby Johnstone.
