A 28-YEAR-OLD man from Eugowra has been ordered off the road after allegedly being caught driving while disqualified.

Officers attached to the Central West Police District said the truckie was caught behind the wheel this week.

"About 7.25pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, police received information that a disqualified driver was in a B-double heavy vehicle in Bogan Street, Parkes," officers said in a statement.

"Police from the Central West Police District attended and stopped the heavy vehicle.

"The driver, a 28-year-old male from Eugowra, was spoken to. Checks revealed his NSW Driver Licence was disqualified.

Police informed the driver that he would receive a court attendance notice for the offence of drive whilse disqualified. He was directed not to drive again during the disqualification period.
