This year PDNA had an 11s development squad of 10 players, an additional 34 players in the 15s, 14s and 12s representative teams as well as seven umpires who made up 'Team White'.
The PDNA rep teams attended regional carnivals in Young, West Wyalong, Cowra, Orange, Forbes and of course our own very successfully hosted day in Parkes.
All players demonstrated excellent sportsmanship at these events, were strong competitors and always enjoyed playing and bonding with their teammates.
A mention must go to the 11s who came 2nd in their division at their first ever carnival in West Wyalong and the 14s team who took out their division at the Forbes carnival for the second year in a row.
All of the long hours and hard work at training culminated in the highlight of the season which is of course the State Titles.
This year the 15s travelled to Narellen on the June long weekend to be hosted by Camden at the Senior State Titles where they finished 5th in their division.
The team had a very enjoyable trip, playing their hearts out over the three days and making the Netball NSW Facebook page for a wonderful friendship struck up with the Parramatta team.
On the first weekend in July the 14s and 12s travelled to Penrith to compete in the Junior State Titles.
The 12s team thoroughly enjoyed their first ever taste of major competition and embraced the experience of being away with their friends.
They played their very best over the course of the carnival finishing in 17th place.
In their third tour the 14s team set themselves a goal to finish in the top 5 after being ranked 17th last year.
They worked hard and were very competitive and managed to finish in 4th place in their division of 20 teams.
A rep presentation dinner was held to celebrate the end of the 2019 season and acknowledge the major award winners.
The evening was also a lovely opportunity to thank all of the coaches, managers and primary carers who accompanied the players.
