Player profiles
James Parsons - Mr Consistency has been great all year both in attack and defence. Is working well with both the halves and forwards being a threat in attack.
Tyler Yeo - The quite achiever potential second rower disguising himself as a winger. Always makes the right choice in defence extremely reliable.
Col Rauchle - Col has been great all year. His defence has been solid and he has scored some great tries.
Will Tanswell - Another player who doesn't say much. Will lets his actions do the talking. His defence in the last few weeks has been outstanding.
Sam Ryan - Has been shifted to the wing since returning from injury although playing out of position has looked at home under the high ball and in defence. Has not let anybody down.
Ben Cooper - Plays well above his weight. Has been targeted by the big men in opposition teams but continues to put his body on the line. Always a threat in attack.
Kyle Mawhinney - Kyle sometimes forgets he's a halfback and not a front rower. Has all the skills and has directed the team around well. Hits hard in defence and always threatens in attack.
Finnley Neilsen - What can I say about our captain. He leads from the front in hit ups and defence. There's a reason this guy has been successful at Rep footy he trains hard and is very professional in his preparation.
Michael Riley - Has been slightly hampered by injury during the finals but is always threatening in attack. He has worked hard in tightening up our middle defence and has been a reliable goal kicker.
Dustin Ticehurst - Big Dusty has been great to work with this year. Always willing to listen and as a result has improved out of site. His go forward has been inspirational, and he has learnt to use his size to his advantage.
Toby Miller - Unfortunate injury 2 weeks ago but returning for the big one. Toby has been a standout all season in both defence and attack. Plenty of rep footy in front of him.
Bayden Moran - First year in 16's but you would never know. Bayden has played in a number of positions this season but has settled into the backrow. Has threatened the defence every time he touches the ball.
Jason Wright - Has slipped into the lock role well, has a high work rate in both defence and attack. He plays well above his weight and continues to impress.
Maia Haenga - The super sub. I really don't think this young man realises how much influence he can have on the result of the game. He runs hard and tackles even harder has great foot work and speed and with a bit of hard work has the potential to become a regular representative player.
Zayne Eshman - Zayne has played a big role in the team's success. Unfortunately, Zayne injured one of his big calf muscles during pre-season training which delayed his start to the season. He has played in the halves and at hooker and is a fantastic team player and keeps the talk up when he is on the field.
Wilson Duffy - Most laid-back dude in our team. Nothing fazes Wilson takes all care in treating his injuries like when he had a finger injury would turn up to training in his slides because everyone knows you can't run with a busted finger.
Jai Thompson - Another player who plays well above his weight. Has a big motor. Always thrown on as a front row replacement but has gradually learnt that it is a lot better to run at spaces not faces.
Ben Herring - Ben turned up to pre-season training with his arm just out of a cast. Wasn't too keen on the fitness during pre-season but the change is a credit to him. I have seen the change in him during a pretty intensive fitness session. Ben came up to me after training informing me that he had just wasted $20 worth of KFC over the fence, but he completed the session. Great team player and always has his teammate's backs.
Ryan Smith - (CLEARY) First year in Rugby League. Has had limited game time during the finals but has proven during the season that he won't let his mates down. Cleary has developed a close relationship with his teammates and his fellow players have a huge amount of respect for him.
Jayden Pope - First year of Rugby League after coming over from Rugby Union. Popey was thrown in the deep end early in the season starting against Dubbo and Orange teams during a Gala day and despite his lack of experience and size difference handled himself well. Is becoming a dependable front rower for our Club.
Tyson Richardson - The Pig Hunter/ Footballer. Hardest thing about this guy is knowing if he is pig hunting or playing footy. Tyson has heaps of potential and a terrible haircut. If he is prepared to knuckle down and do the hard work required has the potential to play representative football.
