Koby Johnstone is thrilled to have been named in the Under 16 All Australian School Boys Hockey Team to tour South Africa in 2020 after his team beat the ACT in the bronze medal match.

Koby's team played eight games winning five and drawing three which secured them a third place medal.
He was lead goal scorer with an impressive seven, including one of the four to take down the ACT in the bronze medal match 4-1.
Nic's team came away with three wins, one draw and four losses.
After losing to WA 2-1 in the finals, they placed sixth.
Abigail and Meg's team had three wins, one draw and four losses.
They beat WA 3-1 in the finals, scoring them fiftth place.
The fabulous four were happy to compete at such a high level in their chosen sport of hockey - each going through a selection process to make their respective teams.
The girls attended a training day in Newcastle from which they were selected into the NSWB team.
Koby and Nic's selection was a bit more of a process and involved attending Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) boys Hockey trials at Moorebank in March, and selection in the U16 NSW CCC Squad to attend the U16 NSW All Schools Squad Camp held at the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation over four days in June.
At the conclusion of the four day camp, Koby and Nic were selected in the U16 NSWS and NSWB All Schools Boys Hockey Teams.
Koby, a Year 11 at Red Bend Catholic College, plays in the Free Defender position.
"It was a great experience captaining the NSW All Schools State hockey team and I was presented with the Coach's Award after the last game," he said.
Kob's team received their Bronze Medals at the closing ceremony.
