Indianna Kennedy (Year 4) and Harrison Kennedy (Year 6) have this year represented Middleton Public School at the Parkes Action Club Public Speaking Competition.

Indianna took out first place in her division with her speech "It Wasn't My Idea!" receiving a perpetual trophy and $100 for the school.
Indianna Kennedy, Meg Skinner (Year 4), Harrison Kennedy and Georgie MacGregor (Year 6) all participated at the Oxley Public Speaking Competition at Trundle.
Meg and Harrison both achieved Highly Recommended Certificates with their respective topics of "I Can't Reach" and "Dreaming" enabling them to move onto the next level of competition at the CWA Inter School Competition.
Harrison's new topic for Narromine was "Decisions" and Meg's "The Perfect Gift". The two went up against 11 students in their respective sections. Meg achieved second placing in her section. She received a $20 cash prize and a certificate for her efforts.
The students would like to thank Mr and Mrs Skinner and Mrs Kennedy for taking them to the various venues to compete and Miss Davies for organising their competition entries.
