Jock Charlton admits he was never really looking for another car when he bought this HK Holden about 10 years ago, but after one look at it he realised that it was just too good to let it pass by.

"Another fella from the car club happened to ask me if I was interested in buying a low mileage Holden," Jock said.
"I wasn't really, as I already had a couple of old cars plus a collection of tractors to keep me busy, but intrigue got the better of me and I went for a look."
Jock said he couldn't believe it when they opened the shed door and it was a beige colour.
"I already had an HR and a Chev Nova in beige, so I was really hoping it would be blue or something," he laughed.
The interior is all original and Jock has no plans to change it from the way it left the factory.
Once Jock started looking over the car more closely though, the disappointment about the colour soon waned and he was keen as mustard, putting down a deposit and paying it off as soon as he could to get it home.
Jock's is a base model 1968 HK Holden Kingswood in Pinaroo Beige with a white roof.
He's dolled it up with Premier dress rims, rear wheel spats and chrome door handle plates to set it off.
It's a 161 cubic inch six cylinder with a three speed manual column shift which Jock reckons is as tight as the day it left the Miller and Cheney dealership in Parkes 51 years ago.
"I found out a bit of the history on the HK when I bought it," Jock said, "and it belonged to two brothers in Bogan Gate who obviously didn't drive it much."
It only had about 33,000 miles on it and according to the family it was used from Parkes to Bogan Gate on occasions and aside from that it's furthest trip was to Cowra once.
Ironically, Jock's first trip in the HK was all the way to Lightning Ridge and back - further than it had ever been.
"It had been ordered without a heater or a radio," Jock said, "and still has neither."
The interior is all original and Jock has no plans to change it from the way it left the factory.
