Magpies White defeated a depleted Cellar Crows 6-0. Dave MacGregor was in great form in the circle scoring a hat-trick with Grady Magill, Rodney Coleman and Angus Arndell all contributing to the total.
Best for Magpies were Graeme Tanswell, Dave MacGregor, Royce Simpson and Glenn Johnstone with Dan Wilson the best for Cellars.
Magpies Black were too strong for Rovers running away with an 8-0 victory.
Koby Johnstone and Will Searl both scored doubles with Jason Wright, Kyle Thompson, Regan Hotham and Conor Dwarte all scoring one each.
Best for Magpies were Kyle Thompson and Regan Hotham with Nic Job and Mitch McGirr never giving up for Rovers.
A GRADE WOMEN
Rovers Black and Magpies played out an exciting 1-1 draw.
Magpies scored in the opening minutes of the match when Sommer Tanswell picked up a neat deflection goal.
Rovers levelled the scores mid-way through the first half with Lara Piercy converting a penalty corner after excellent lead up work by Teegan Rodgers.
Magpies worked hard in attack but the Rovers defence stood strong with the match resulting in a draw.
Lee Hodge was best on ground with an inspired defensive performance for Rovers with Gracey Denham-Jones and Georgia Huppatz also playing strongly.
Meghan Searl and Wendy Rix were best for Magpies.
PHI played a nice team game to defeat Magpies 3-1.
Annabelle Dyer, Jordan Moody and Casey Miles all converted for PHI with Lori Ross scoring for Magpies.
Sarah Hartin was best on ground with a great mid-field performance for PHI. She was well supported by Casey Miles and Anita Beard.
Best for Magpies were Savannah Draper and Lori Ross.
B GRADE MEN
Magpies Black defeated Cellar Crows Black 3-0 in a strong performance.
Goals were shared between Michael Somers, Adam Smithers and Joseph Tanswell in the victory.
For Magpies, Michael Somers, Adam Smithers and Isaac White played well with Jack Rice, Richard Rice and Kane Nutley strong for Cellars.
Magpies White just edged out Cellar Crows Aqua 3-2 in a close match.
Jack Skinner, Tommy Searl and Wira Thomson all converted for Magpies with Craig Kelly and Dane Hendry scoring for Cellars.
Best for Magpies were youngsters Jack Skinner and Tommy Searl with Thomas Hitchick, Mitch Edwards and Craig Kelly the best for Cellars.
Magpies Academy defeated Marist 2-0.
Father/son duo Phil and Ryan Dunford both scored great goals in the win.
Ryan Dunford was player of the match with an outstanding performance with Archie Rix and Dave MacGregor also strong for Magpies.
Tristan Hanstock had a great match in goals for Marist.
Rovers Gold defeated Rovers Gorillas 5-2 in a friendly club match.
Jacob Chambers scored a double with Luke Greenwood, Zac Redfern and Josh Glasheen all scoring one each for Gold.
Ryan Mackenzie and Simon Scott converted for Gorillas.
Best for Gold were Jacob Chambers, Declan Daley, Cooper Huppatz and Zac Redfern with Simon Scott and Joe Kinsela playing well for Gorillas.
B GRADE WOMEN
Marist defeated Middleton Coachman 2-0 in a strong team performance.
Sharon Deen-Moody and Lyndal Matthews were on hand to score a nice goal each for Marist.
Best for Marist were Lyndal Matthews, Justine Morrissey and Sharon Scott with Vivian Tosetti and Olivia Noakes having great games for Middleton.
Rovers Black defeated Magpies White 1-0.
Nothing could separate the two sides in an exciting tussle.
With less than a minute to go on the clock, Codie Sense made a strong run through the mid-field and picked up Michelle Godwin in the circle who converted to give Rovers the victory.
Best for Rovers were Ashleigh Sense, Sass Tildsley and Tiffany Steel with Kate Shambrook and Sarah Smith playing well for Magpies.
Magpies Black were too strong for Star Budgies winning 7-1 in an impressive team performance.
Laura Jones scored a hat-trick, Meghan Searl a double with Lucy Turner and Natalie Munday scoring one apiece.
Madeline Swan was the lone goal-scorer for Budgies.
Best for Magpies were Ella MacGregor, Louise Witherow and Meghan Searl with Madeline Swan and Dannyelle Scifleet playing well for Budgies.
Cellar Crows defeated Middleton Eagles 3-0.
Madeline Blackstock was in impressive form in the circle knocking in three smart goals.
Best for Cellars were Toni Speakman, Madeline Blackstock and Molly Orr with Alex Jones and Niamh Mitton strong for Eagles.
Rovers Gold defeated Magpies Academy 3-1 in an entertaining match.
Ariel Labuschagne, Jo-Anne Lyons and Lara Piercy converted for Rovers with Maggie Wright scoring for Magpies.
