The company was founded by Allan Sullivan in 1991 after he recognised an opportunity for a local supplier to service the fast growing far western mining region.

The first branch was opened in Cobar and with additional branches soon opened within the NSW central regions of Orange, Parkes, and Dubbo.

Upon Allan's retirement his son Duane, with the help of the experienced employees, continued to drive the company forward with the values, systems and passion that Allan introduced and consistently followed.

Sullivans Parkes branch manager Bianca Mckenzie said the business is "constantly applying innovative technologies" to capture new opportunities.
