Bob Skinner Painting & Decorating Junior League Tag team won 14 -12 against Cabonne in Cabonne last weekend.
Senior League Tag Whites
Parkes Ex-Services Club Senior League Tag team lost on Saturday to a strong Cabonne side. Cabonne score six tries in the first half taking the half-time score to 28-0.
Second half saw Nikita Woods over the line but conversion was unsuccessful.
Cabonne scored another two tries in the second half with the final score being 38-4.
Senior League Tag Blue
Hansen Plumbing Senior League Tag Blues took on the top of the table Cabonne Roos at Manildra on the weekend.
Parkes' first set of 6 saw Jorja Simpson take the ball 15 metres out stepping and weaving her way over the try line. Conversion was successful by Tess Woods.
After some great tagging out wide by Jorja Mann and Bek Choyce, Jorja Davis made a break and combined with Teagan Smede who left the Cabonne defence in her dust scoring under the posts.
The conversion was successful by Jorja Simpson. Continued hard work by Bella Thomson, Lily Crocker and Charley Jones led to Tess Woods scoring out wide after some fancy footwork.
Parkes Blues go into half time leading 18 - 0. Cabonne came out much stronger in the second half and scored to make the score 18-6.
Some great runs from Ella Wilkinson, Bronte Thompson and Jorja Davis saw Parkes once again take control of the game, when Jorja Simpson split the defence again and scored in the corner to lead 22- 6.
Cabonne worked hard to score again but some great tags by Ellie Toohey, Teagan Smede and our safe as houses fullback Jorja Davis ensured Cabonne couldn't break the Blues defence.
With not too long to go Chloe Drabsch showed great timing with the ball confusing the Cabonne defence and running through to score the final try, taking the final score to 28-6 with Parkes winning.
This result shows how hard the girls have been working in their attack and defence at training.

Under 10s Andy Thomas Building Under 10's played Manildra on Saturday and won. Jaylen Moran got 4 tries and George Thomas scored 3 tries.
The team did really good with their defence, especially Jett Clarke.
York Whitford had his first game as hooker and played well, Hamish McGrath played out of his skin with his first game as captain.
Xavier Ward and Lucas Edwards ran the ball very well this week. Great team work boys!

Under 12s K and H constructions U12s won against Cabonne Roos on Saturday with final score Parkes 10 - Roos 8.
Under 14 Blues MP Home & Design Under 14 Blues lost against a strong Cabonne side last Saturday 50 - 18.
Under 14 Whites
Sportspower Under 14 Whites also played Cabonne on Saturday. First try was scored by Cabonne, conversion was unsuccessful taking the score to 4-0.
An offload from Dylan Woods to Caleb Wirth saw Parkes score, conversion unsuccessful taking the score to 4 all. Cabonne were next to scores and convert followed by Parkes' Dean Robinson scoring and an unsuccessful conversion took the score to 10-8.
Cabonne scores again in the first half taking the score to 14-8 at half-time.
Second half saw a very strong Cabonne side as they scored three tries and converted taking the score to 32-8 at full time.
Under 16's Brian Collins Smash Repairs Under 16's won against Cabonne 38 - 10 last Saturday.
Under 14 Whites play Under 14 Blues
What a fantastic display of football to open the Senior Rugby League games last Sunday at Pioneer Oval. The Under 14 Blues beat the Under 14 Whites last game and were out to prove their dominance while the Under 14 Whites were keen to even the score and walk away with a win. The atmosphere was set for a good game.
Whites opened the score board first with a try from Dylan Woods but conversion was unsuccessful. The Blues hit back with a try from Tye Toomey and a conversion by Kaid Lydford.
Malakai Folau made a break leaving the Whites defence behind him to score with another successful conversion by Kaid.
Whites had the lead. Whites fought hard to drive the ball forward and Brian Mendoza finished the set with a try and Dean Robinson converted taking the score to 10 - 12 Whites way.
Blues worked hard to get over the line but Whites defence was strong holding them out and gaining possession. Oliver Thomas made a break but was chased down and stopped by Kaid Lydford. Whites couldn't get the ball over before half-time.
Second half saw much of the same. Both teams displaying strong defence. Jay Arrow was over to score and Marley converted giving the Whites the lead.
Tye Toomey scored for the Blues but unfortunately conversion was missed. The score was even and the pressure on for both teams to stay focused.
Malakai Folau made another break and the Whites couldn't catch him as he scored and conversion by Kaid was successful. But the Whites fought back with Oliver Thomas scoring and Marley successfully converting.
The game was a tie again. With two minutes to go Caleb Wirth scored and conversion by Dustin James saw the Whites take the win 28 - 22 in a fantastic display of football by both teams.
Congratulations boys for putting on such a great match for the spectators.
Note: Parkes Under 10s will play Condobolin in the Mal Burkener Memorial Trophy on Saturday 10th August, 9am at Pioneer Oval.
