Trundle has appeared in four straight Woodbridge Cup grand finals, losing the 2015 and 2016 deciders at Young and Canowindra respectively before emerging triumphant at Condobolin and then Manildra in back-to-back seasons.

This year, the undefeated Boomers will be hoping for another grand final appearance but this time there's a carrot.
Trundle will host its first Woodbridge Cup grand final in over two decades after the competition's committee poured over a number of hosting rights submissions from clubs.
In the end the Boomers were given the nod and Woodbridge Cup president Andrew Pull said the Trundle club was deserving of the day.
He said the Woodbridge Cup allocates its grand final hosting rights well in advance of grand final day - which in 2019 is Sunday, September 8 - to allow clubs to get their grounds up to scratch.
"We don't have a Glen Willow or a Wade Park that are ready to go but the Boomers have been one of the best organised clubs off the field for a number of years and no doubt will organise a great day," Pull said.
The other finals venues will be determined once the top five is more concrete.
But Pull said the format of having each side that makes the finals host just one game will remain, with one exception.
Molong currently sits in third on the Woodbridge Cup ladder but a long-standing competition by-law that excludes first-year-back clubs from hosting finals will come into play when the Bulls qualify.
Trundle is all but certain to win the minor premiership but after the Boomers received grand final hosting rights the club has forgone the right to host the major semi-final, which all minor premiership winning sides have done in the past.
Pull said sharing the hosting rights across all finals-bound clubs was designed to ensure all teams make a bit of money.
"It's just about opportunity," he said.
"Trundle haven't had (a grand final) in about 20 years. I know they'll be hoping to make this one as well."
