The former Central West representative has played through the junior ranks from under 13s, through the colts and right through to being a regular in the first grade side for the best part of the last decade.
This has made him a very popular and well known player with everyone who has had anything to do with rugby in Parkes. This was again obvious at last years presentation night when Toby was awarded the prestigious, Malakai Fisiilose Clubman of the Year Award.
Anyone who has played with or watched Toby play knows he always plays his body to a standstill and leaves nothing in the tank. There are never any questions over his commitment to the game and his mates on the field. Nor has there ever been any questions over his performances off the field, always leading the way bringing home the boat race week in week out.
This weekend will see Toby taking his place in the starting side after shaking off an injury cloud which was hanging over him after last weekend when he scored the final try of the game giving the Boars a bonus point win. The win against Dubbo sees the Boars get their third win over the Rhinos for the season and moves them back into a finals position on the ladder with only four rounds left.
This Saturday afternoon the Boars are at home for their annual charity game against the Narromine Gorillas. The Boars will be playing in a one-off playing strip which will be going under the auctioneers hammer later that evening. Get along on Saturday and have a beer with Baigo. This year money will be raised for the Red Cross.
Kick off will be 3.15pm at Northparkes Oval.
