Pedestrian sustains minor injuries after being hit by car in Victoria Street

A pedestrian was taken to hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car in Victoria Street at 5.45pm on Friday.

The 31-year-old Parkes woman was attempting to cross the road when she walked into an oncoming vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.

Two businesses in the industrial area and one in the CBD were broken into over the weekend.

Unknown offenders caused $400 damage and stole $200 in property at one business sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

Another business was broken into overnight on Friday where $650 in property was stolen.

The third business premises, located in the CBD, was broken into at 1.15am on Saturday. An unknown amount of cash was taken from the location.

Investigations are continuing including viewing CCTV footage of the crimes.

A 24-year-old Bogan Gate man was lucky to escape serious injury when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree at 4.30am on Saturday.

A glass door at a fast food restaurant was damaged in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Witnesses saw a male kick the door, smashing the glass, at 3am.

The damage is estimated at $300.

A vehicle that was stolen from Military Road last week was located in Manildra at 3pm on Friday.

The owner was able to collect the vehicle.

A fence in Bogan Street was maliciously damaged around midnight on Wednesday.

Unknown offenders kicked the colorbond fence, damaging a panel.
