In their first game the Boars took on Molong.
A chilly morning greeted the Under 11's but Parkes adjusted quickly to get off to a good start.
Both sides controlled the ball well.
Parkes players Dom and Eben opened up the play while both Sonny and Zac created opportunities for Lachlan to finish the play and score.
A turnover from Hubert lead to Sonny being in the open, with Eben being unlucky not to score.
Parkes had Molong cornered on their try line and Holly took advantage of the field position, scoring to make it Parkes 2-0 at half time
When play resumed Lachlan's speed was causing trouble for Molong- with runs down both wings leading to his second try of the day.
Matty Skinner continues to show his Rugby skills scoring another Boars try.
Parkes' strong play continued with Holly barging over the line
Final score: 5-0.
In their second game the Boars came up against Mudgee.
Parkes started with a strong run and fend from Callum then pass to Zac who unfortunately ran out of the room on the sideline.
Sonny stole the ball back and Lachlan finished the try.
Riley and Matty were busy, leading to a turnover with Henry scoring.
A strong passage from Mudgee, meant Parkes needed to defend well with Riley in particular strong, however they couldn't hold on and Mudgee scored in the end.
Mudgee started the second half with a full length of the field try to level it up 2-2.
Kyan stole the ball at a line out to give Parkes back the lead. In a tit for tat game. Parkes paid the price for not getting low in tackles with Mudgee scoring.
The slippery conditions were hard to play in, Kyan and Sonny had strong run's ending with Henry scoring his second try.
Parkes continued to struggle tackling with Mudgee again levelling the score in a see-sawing game. Hubert, Patrick and Holly were trying hard but ball control was difficult, and Mudgee scored the final try for a well-deserved win.
Mudgee won 5-4.
In their third game for the day Parkes lined up against Kinross from Orange.
Played on a full size field the coach would have been pleased to see Lachlan showing the way, with a low tackling to start the game.
Darcy and Eben were good upfront with Sonny crossing for the opening try of the game.
From the kick off Lachlan used his speed to almost score, with Holly getting the honour in the end.
Sonny released George with a good pass and shortly after Zac scored with a dummy-half scamper from the back of the ruck.
Good team play lead to Fergus getting a try to finish the half 3-0 up.
Matty got into space for a run after Patrick, Holly, Hugh and Fergus working well.
Callum had a great run down the sideline and an excellent tackle was needed to stop him just short of the line.
Defence from Dom lead to another try from the back of the scrum to Zac.
Parkes were playing well opening up play but failure to deliver the ball to teammates a bit earlier cost them a try.
Persistence paid off with Sonny crossing for another try to Parkes. Parkes won 5-0.
Parkes' best for the day were Lachlan Reynolds and George Thomas who took home the Player of the Week and Toughest on Field awards.
