Six qualifying rounds have been held around the state since February, where the top six or seven finishers in each class have earned themselves a Golden Ticket to the final.
Peak Hill brothers Jake and Scott Green, who each ride a RMZ250, qualified at Condobolin in March in the 15 Years Junior Lites section.
Jake and Scott are the sons of Shane and Heather Green and both attend Parkes Christian School.
Dom White, also from Peak Hill, is looking forward to competing in Nowra. He qualified in Mx B Grade at Condobolin.
Parkes girl Danielle McDonald rides a Yamaha 85cc and is sponsored by Frank Spice in Parkes.
Danielle qualified in the 85cc Girls 12 to 16 Years class at Maitland.
She attends Parkes Christian School and her Parents are Jason and Christine McDonald.
Danielle's little sister Jade, who is only five-years-old, was thrilled to be able to ride her KTM mini 50cc in a demo race for the Nippers in Maitland, but she will have to wait to compete in the finals until she is a bit older.
Kye Kinsela from Parkes rides a High Power 50cc Husqvana and is sponsored by Kinsela Plant Repairs.
He qualified in two classes - the High Power 50cc 7 to 9 Years at Condobolin and the 65cc 7 to 9 Years at Maitland.
Kye attends Parkes East Public School and is the son of Mitch Kinsela and Toni Speakman.
Toni said all the riders are members of Condobolin Auto Sports Club.
"They attend regular race meets in a friendly and fun environment," she said.
"It is a very welcoming club, catering for all levels of riders from the Nippers to the over 35 and VETS classes, it's great to see so many boys, girls, men and women turning up and having a go."
Toni said the King of Mx is a great way for country kids to attend, and also qualify for, a major state title race meet without having to go to the bigger towns or cities.
"We are all very proud of them and wish them the very best of luck," she said.
600 finalists will compete and twenty state champions will be crowned, along with a King, Queen, Prince and Princess of MX.
The King and Queen will leave the event with a crown and a $10,000 winners cheque. An impressive $53,000 in cash and prizes is up for grabs at the championships which was originally to be held at the brand new Goulburn Motorcycle Club.
Due to circumstances out of the club's control it was unable to host the prestigious event and Nowra Motorcycle Club stepped up and agreed to support the finals.
The King of MX has quickly become Australia's largest Junior/Senior motocross event.
