Doris turned 102 on March 31 surrounded by family and friends who travelled from as far as Queensland, Wellington, Peak Hill and Alectown to help her mark the special occasion.
Unfortunately, her son Ray Littlewood was unable to make the event.
Doris spent her youth in Parkes before bringing up her six children on the family farm at Alectown.
After her farming days were over, she retired to a home in Parkes and only 12 months ago she moved to Southern Cross Care's residential aged care home.
Doris is proud of her six children, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, who she loves dearly.
