Parkes have made a promising start to the season, although it was obvious in the playing group that there was great disappointment in the 31-24 loss to the fancied Nyngan Tigers at home last Sunday.
League Tag kicks off with the high-flying Spacecats.
The girls will be looking to improve their combinations against the Jets this week, and lift their intensity in a number of facets.
The Parkes juniors had an off-day last week, which still resulted in a win.
The Parkes reserve grade side struggled in a number of aspects last week against Nyngan, however the team is a very young one, that will hopefully learn and rebound from such contests.
Finally, first grade should see a very willing contest, with the Chad Porter-led Spacemen looking to rebound to the winning circles at home.
Star rake Benjamin John played strongly, while the youthful backline contributed well- thanks to great contributions from Ben Davis and Jacob Smede.
The Jets will roll out a big forward pack and will try to bash the Parkes side off the paddock, before releasing their elusive backline.
Gates open at 10am with the Tag kick off at 11am.
