It's a Japanese bike, 1100cc, shaft drive, five speed with four carburettors and a big set of pipes.

He's got an array of cars, bikes, trucks and tractors in various states of repair in his collection.
Bruce recently joined the Central West Car Club and I caught up with him to find out a little more about one of his motorbikes.
"It's a 1981 Kawasaki KZ1100" Bruce said.
"I'd grown up with motorbikes and always ridden them on the farm and I was keen to get an older bike when the opportunity arose."
Bruce bought the Kawasaki last year from a fella in Trundle. That owner had been doing it up when his plans were put on hold following a work accident.
"The bike had been sitting in a half built state for 12 years before I came across it for sale" said Bruce.
"I did a deal for some cash and some fodder and the big Kwaka was mine to finish off."
Bruce told me the all too familiar story of having initial plans for a simple rebuild to get his KZ back on the road but ending up with almost a complete restoration.
"Josh Frogley rebuilt the engine and mechanicals for me" Bruce said " and while it was pulled down I decided to have the frame powder coated and things just grew from there."
According to Bruce and his research the Kawasaki KZ1100 is a bit of a rare motorbike.
"Not many of them were brought into Australia" Bruce said. "It's a Japanese bike, 1100cc, shaft drive, five speed with four carburettors and a big set of pipes."
Bruce has kept the Kawasaki as original as he could sourcing a few parts from here in Australia but it was the seat that proved the hardest to find.
"The seat frame was rusted out as they often do" Bruce said "and I searched all over Australia with no success."
Bruce eventually found a seat in the U.S. and was lucky enough to bring it home in his luggage when visiting family in the states last year.
With the KZ near finished, Bruce wants to do some final tidying up with paint and stripes and then get out for some social rides.
As a member of the Central West Car Club Bruce can look forward to some regular club runs on his bike.
The club meets monthly and tries to have regular club runs each month. For more about the car club you can look up www.centralwestcarclub.com or find us on Facebook.
