This year's exhibition will have an Anzac theme and will be held in the Starlight Room of the Parkes Services Club until Thursday, May 2.
RSL Club President Terry Knowles will officially open the exhibition on Friday evening at 7pm.
Tickets are $10 each.
Finger food will be served, catered by the club, and the bar will be open.
The exhibition will be open every day from 10am to 7.30pm with an entry fee of $2.
Parkes Painting Group member Kim Chambers said there are some 80 paintings in this year's exhibition as well as other pieces.
"Parkes Potters Group will have their usual fabulous display of items, and we have an exciting photographic display dating back to the first and second world wars," he said.
"Patrons will not only be able to enjoy all the fantastic works on display, they will also have the chance to vote for their favourite painting.
"Holding the exhibition at the club has allowed us to extend our opening hours until 7.30pm to give community members the opportunity to come along after work."
Some great raffle prizes are up for grabs this year with proceeds going to Legacy.
On offer for first prize is a dinner for two at Bent Food & Wine.
Second prize is a hard cover copy of the art reference book A Painted Landscape - Across Australia From Bush To Coast by Amber Creswell Bell.
Proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the local branch of Legacy Australia.
