The children who were taken from a school at Trundle today have been safely located.
About 9pm (Friday 12 April 2019), the children, aged 12 and 13, were located safe and well in Narrabri, together with the two adults.
Officers from Central West Police District continue to conduct investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police thank the media and the community for their assistance.
Earlier - Friday, April 12
The NSW Police Force is seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a boy and girl who were taken from a school in Trundle by adults known to them this morning.
Eric Fernando, aged 12, and Erin Fernando, aged 13, who live in Peak Hill, were taken from the school at Trundle, west of Parkes, about 10am today (Friday 12 April 2019).
It is believed they were taken by Darren Wykes, aged 48, and Elizabeth Wykes, aged 62, who have a domestic relationship with the children.
The children have not been seen since this time, and police have serious concerns for their welfare.
They are believed to be travelling in a 1999 model white Toyota Landcruiser, with NSW registration BTR95F.
The children were last seen wearing school uniforms, consisting of a maroon polo shirt with a school emblem.
Police are asking the public to be on alert.
Anyone who sees the vehicle, or has any information relating to the whereabouts of the children, is urged to contact Triple Zero immediately.
