She's just published her fourth novel called 'The Unbroken Chain', a sequel to her last book 'A Chain of Dreams'.
And she will be hosting its official launch on Saturday, April 27 at the Coachman Hotel Motel at 2pm.
Margaret said her new book came about by popular demand from many of her readers, "who were sorry when the last book ended".
It was a venture she didn't expect to take and she never imagined writing her fourth book.
"People told me they wanted to know what happened with Tish and Hugh," Margaret said.
"I left them in a good place with the prospect of romance.
"But then I thought I'd fill in my time by writing another book," she laughed.
Parkes councillor Bill Jayet will help to launch the book on April 27.
An afternoon tea will be served at the event and there will be a short period of entertainment.
Margaret said everyone is welcome to attend the launch.
Margaret launched 'A Chain of Dreams' in May 2016 and it was her first attempt at fiction.
'A Chain of Dreams' is an endearing story of an ordinary Australian family placed in an unfamiliar country and how they learn to adapt.
Prior to this, she wrote an autobiographical piece titled 'With a Song in my Heart' which she released at age 82 and three years later a historical piece 'Jewels along the Newell'.
Margaret turned 90 years old on April 15.
