POLICE are calling on witness to a two-car crash in Forbes after one of the drivers provided false details to the other.

Officers attached to the Central West Police District said the incident occurred at 4.20pm on Wednesday.
"A white utility allegedly reversed into the front of a parked blue Mazda 3 in the car park of a video business on Rankin Street, Forbes," police said in a statement.

"Police allege the female driver of the utility provided incorrect details to the registered owner.
"The incident was reported to Forbes Police a short time later."

Police officers investigating the circumstances into the incident and are seeking the identity of the female driver described as having blonde hair in a pony tail and a tattoo on her arm.
