The Parkes Spacemen Rugby League Club's three person ambrose at Parkes Golf Club last Saturday was a resounding success with 89 players in action.

The event was divided into two sections with a golfers division and a golfers plus non-golfers division.
The golfers section was won by Jarrod Kemp, Mark Kelly and John Green with an excellent score of 59 nett.
The group were helped mightily by a personal eagle on the 7th hole by Kemp.
His three proved integral to the team's win.
Runners-up with a score of 59.66 nett were Luke Clarke, Todd Jayet and Brent Timmins.
In the golfers and non-golfers division, Simon Ellis, Aaron Wilkie and Garry Wilkie took top spot with 59.66 nett.
They were followed by E. Richards, D. White and J. White on 60 nett.
Other notable scores included Vince Kelly, Charlie Allen and Ray Maxwell on 61 nett, Brett Cowling, Kieran Deland and S. Mackenzie on 61, and M. Burns, Josh Cheney and Rob Cheney on 61.
Nearest the pin on the Idlerite-Tyrepower 1st hole was Aaron Wilkie with a good tee shot to 230cm.
Ray Maxwell hit a good shot into the Griffins Leading Edge 4th green, putting from only 103cm and taking out the money hole award.
On the Dirt Doctor Landscaping 6th hole, Ian Phipps nearly shot a hole-in-one with his tee shot, tapping in for birdie from only 17cm.
Margaret Hogan hit a fine shot into nthe Harvey Norman 11th hole to leave herself only 183cm for birdie.
Jordan Grosvenor claimed the prize on the Westlime 15th hole with an excellent shot to finish 230cm from the flag.
The Parkes Readymixed Concrete 9th hole pin placement proved hard to attack as Mark Kelly claimed the prize with his approach to 700cm.
Charlie Allen had no such trouble on the Central West Glass 18th hole, leaving himself only 65cm for birdie.

No exceptions will be made without a viable reason.
