"Good mate David White did a lot of the work on the car for me which I cannot thank him enough for. It sat at Dave's place for so long that he started telling people it was his" laughed Garry.
Garry has had the car since the mid 1990's when he bought it from his brother.
"He'd had it for a while and it was sitting idle after he'd pulled the motor out and put it in a Valiant ute" said Garry.
"All good, except that now I had to buy the ute as well to get the original motor back! My brother originally bought the Charger years ago when they were cheap. A young Italian fella had it and his mum wanted it sold to get it out of her driveway."
Good mate, David White did a lot of the work on the car.

The Charger has an original 318 Fireball V8 which Garry says has done "a million miles" and hopes will do a million more.
"When I first pieced it back together I drove it around for a couple of years in Dubbo. It was blue then but when fuel started getting more expensive I took it off the road in about 2000" Garry said.
After once again sitting idle for about 15 years Garry decided it was time for a freshen up and that's when David White came in.
He did all the body work and prep work and Scott Page laid on the colour - a bright orange called Ballistic with satin blackouts on the bonnet and the tail.
"I haven't really touched the mechanicals yet" said Garry "but that's next. It's a soft ride but like any car of that era some updated suspension and brakes will make it handle and stop better."
Garry said since putting his car on historic registration he's hoping to make the most of his membership and enjoy some club runs in the Valiant.
