The mural, completed this week, tells a pictorial history of the Weddin Shire, depicting a bucolic scene with cattle in a lush, green field and galahs flying overhead.
The mural took the artist five weeks to complete and he took to Facebook on Thursday to say he had used more than 800 cans of spray paint and about 130 litres of acrylic paint.
Earlier this year, Parkes man Csaba Belley suggested the Parkes Silos in May Street could have its own version of murals as a way to bring more tourists to town.
He went as far as to illustrate rough preliminary ideas for artwork on the silos that an artist could create but said it could "be anything".
Peter and Shirley Mawhinney, owners of Grenfell Commodities, along with Glenn Beasley and Trevor Mawhinney, engaged the services of the talented Heesco to transform their old Grenfell silos into a brilliant work of art.
Born in Mongolia in 1979, Heesco is a celebrated muralist and fine artist recognised for his stylistically diverse and prolific work on the streets.
More recently he has tackled silos and other large canvasses with experimental, emotive and genre-defying artworks.
The Grenfell Silos project is believed to be Heesco's largest job to date.
