The Bogan Gate Community Memorial Hall and the Bogan Gate Golf Club secured funding for their individual projects through the program.
Member for Orange Philip Donato MP visited the village on Tuesday to give locals the good news - announcing funding of $13,536 for the hall and $7000 for the club.
Mr Donato said he was very happy to have supported the funding application for a much needed partial roof refurbishment for the Bogan Gate Community Memorial Hall.
"The roof, which is rusty, loose, and leaking with the corrugated iron roof covering the kitchen, supper room, CWA Room and Red Cross room within the hall area, requires replacement," Mr Donato said.
President of the Bogan Gate Community Memorial Hall Inc, Mr Ron Umbers said the hall has historically been the focal point of many important community activities, and any upgrades made possible with the $13,536 would benefit the entire community.
"The local CWA, the Community Consultative Committee and other organisations use the hall on a regular basis and many important community events are held in the hall, so this upgrade is very welcome," Mr Umbers said.
At the Golf Club Mr Donato said the funding will be utilised for a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment.
"These improvements will enhance the facilities of this venue which is an important part of the social life of the community," he said.
Club spokesperson Marion McIntyre, who along with her husband Robert has had a 30-year involvement with the club, said the committee of the club is continually working to host events at the venue.
"A new kitchen will be an important boon for catering purposes," Mrs McIntyre said.
"This is the last remaining sporting venue in the community and our volunteers work very hard to keep it going.
"With everything that has been happening during the drought we have welcomed this good news which will go a long way to reinvigorating everyone.
"The flat pack kitchen has already arrived so it is now just a matter of coordinating the tradesmen and we hope to have it functional in around four weeks.
