Last weekend we only saw five shooters attend the Deep Lead shooting complex. They shot at standard targets at both 25 and 50 meters for a maximum of 500 points. Shooting conditions were near perfect until a strong easterly wind came over the mound and caught out everyone as we were shooting the 50 meter targets.
Target Rifles: Brian Drabsch 250, 247, 497, John Davis 246, 235, 481
Field Rifles: Ron Cunningham 249, 244 493 and John Smeaton 247, 237, 484
One shot for practice only. It would appear that my warnings last week feel on deaf ears. Well don’t cry if the firearms registry cancels your license. You have had plenty of warnings, I have done my best. Our next shoot is at 10am Sunday, March 3 and again will be standard targets at both ranges. We have three people who can do your license test. Just ring Brian on 6862 1969 for an appointment. Apart from that, nearly all other inquires have to be made via computer to the firearms registry.
