For the east west side Val Worthington and Joan Reilly topped with 57 per cent followed by Jenny Freeman and Anne Berkeley 55.33 and Rosemary Morris and Beryl Twardy 53.33.
The Monday nighters played a Mitchell game on February 18 and the north south winners were Helen McQuie and Keith Fiedler 60 per cent, Bill Burke and Anne Berkeley 52.5, Warren and Nancye Blatch 49.5.
For east west there was a tie for first on 58.5 for Gary Somers and Greig Ball, Jennifer Calvert and Dawn Phipps. In third spot were Robyn Sheridan and Wendy Andrews 47.5.
On Tuesday, February 19 Beryl Twardy and Isabel Orange came first for the north south side with 56.5 per cent. Second were Peter Dearden and Margaret Hawken 54.5 followed by Warren Blatch and Laurie Keane 53.5.
The east west winners were Val Worthington and Bev Laing 61 per cent.
Second were Keith Fiedler and Joan Reilly 60.5 and third were Val Boyd and Jenny Freeman 48 per cent.

Railway Bowls
Hello Bowlers, Well there wasn't any social bowls played on the weekend due to the Zone 4 Presidents Singles played at our club.
Three sections were played 14,15, and 16.In section 14 Keith Mccrae played Gary Stanford in the final with Gary winning 31-26.
Section 15 saw Kevin Hynds play Mick Furney with Mick winning 31-27.
In section 16, Graham Thomson was defeated by Jimmy (juicy) Daley31-25.
The three section winners now progress to
Narromine on Saturday for the final 16 bowlers. A full result can be seen on our Facebook page of the two days of bowls.
Wednesday, February 20 we had 16 bowlers attend the chicken run.
Winners John Dunn(again),and Gene Rapp W19+17 and runners up Trish Allen, John Corcoran W18+4 well done Trish your bowls are improving.
Marble 17 came out with no winners so the jackpots stand at $300 and $116.
Three singles games were played.Minor singles ,Graham Turner defeated Maria Willcockson 33-15 and in the two major games Gary Phillips defeated Brian Smith.
Now to the titanic game of the week, the secretary played the president .Well let me tell you, this was a mammoth game with reputations on the line.
Graham Thomson versus Tony Latter and it lived up to all the hype, Graham winning 31-30 what a battle!
Draw is on the board and we will be putting dates up shortly, so get in and be proactive and please get them played.
Pennants practice will be held on Saturday, February 23 at 1pm. Friday nite badge draw is $600 and the joker $1000. The usual raffles are up for grabs.

In the First Round of the Club Championship Singles played this week Maree Grant def Pat Cooney in an exceptional game of bowls with the score 25 – 24.
- Liz Byrne def Brenda Davies; Lorraine Baker defeated Robyn Morgan
- Rhona Went defeated Jan McPhee
- Gwenda Carty defeated Kim Evans; Elaine Miller won on a forfeit from Maureen Miller.
The draw for the next Round to be played on or before February 26 is
- Liz Byrne versus Gwenda Carty.
- Cherie Frame versus Lorraine Baker.
- Merilyn Rodgers versus Elaine Miller.
- Maree Grant versus Rhona Went.
In a game of social pairs Carol Reid, Frances Charlton def Chris Curteis, Di Howell.
In a scroungers game Isabel Svendsen, Di Greenhalgh and Christine Cox enjoyed a game.
A successful Trading Table was held with members enjoying the day.
Winners for the day were Carol and Frances. Raffle was won by Chris Curteis.

Last weekend we saw ten shooters attend the Deep Lead shooting complex.
They shot at ordinary targets at both 25 and 50 meters for a maximum score of 500 pints.

If you do no complete the required shoots the Firearms registry have the power to cancel your license.
You have been warned! Centrefire is also shot at Eugowra range at 10am Sunday’s and we have only one left at sporting clays.
The Firearms registry are months behind in license renewal and the issue of permits to purchase a firearm. Just be patient and it will come eventually.

Sunday, February 17 the Parkes Services social golfers played a Stroke event for the monthly award and putting competition with trophies and raffle supplied by the Parkes Services Club.
Winner on the day was Phil Smith with a great score of 65 nett.( Fairdinkum I think Captain Chop wants us all to play off Scratch). seven shot deduction off Phil's Handicap.
Runnerups were Ian Phipps on a C/B from Reg Davison with a score of 68 nett.
Men's Scratch Winner was Ian Phipps.
Ladies Winner was Lyn Davison who also won the Scratch Event.
Ladies Nearest the Pin Winners fourth Lyn Davison and 11th Dawn Phipps.
Men's Nearest the Pin Winners fourth Rodney Luyt, 11th Phil Smith and 15th Robert Rea.
Lucky Card Draw won by Brian Hogan.
Bunny Award went to Len Archer. (Welcome back Skeeter).
Putting Competition won by Ian Phipps with 24 Putts.
Raffle Winner was Robert Rea with Golf Balls going to Brian Hogan,Bill Warren and Ross Smith.
Next Week we travel to Forbes to Play a Stableford Event due to the Pennants being played at Parkes 8.30am for 9am.
