Last weekend we saw six shooters attend the Deep Lead shooting complex.
They shoot at buffalo targets at both 25 and 50 meter ranges for a maximum of 520 points.
Target Rifles
- Brian Drabsch 270, 249, 519
- Craig Buckle 270, 248, 518
- John Davis 270, 247, 517
Field Rifles
- Ron Cunningham 270, 247, 517
- John Smeaton 269, 245, 514
One shot for practice only. This was the last shoot for Craig before he moves to North Queensland and we wish him and Shelley all the best in their venture.
Our next shoot is at 1pm Sunday, January 13 and will be at ordinary targets at both ranges.
The strong winds on the Saturday stripped branches off all the trees around the two ranges and will require a cleanup.
Along with two completely downed trees, one of which just missed our rainwater tank.
A few things were overturned but not much damage was done.
