And the latest sporting talent coming out of the Parkes Shire range from international representatives to national and state stars to champion teams, to outstanding and dedicated officials, coaches and administrators.
The annual awards recognise outstanding achievement in sport over the last 12 months.
The awards, sponsored by Parkes Champion Post, are divided into eight categories.
The winners will be announced during the Australia Day Awards ceremony in Cooke Park on January 26.
The nominees are:
Sportsperson of the Year: Talesha Quinn (Rugby League), Mariah Williams (Hockey), Kurt Lovett (Hockey), Sally Dwyer (Rugby League).
Junior Sportsperson of the Year: Maddison Spence (Cricket), Ellen Dolbel (All Rounder), Marley O'Shannessy (Squash), William Searl (Hockey), Koby Johnstone (Hockey), India Draper (Hockey, League Tag), Peta Fagan (Hockey), Nicholas Job (Hockey), Meghan Searl (Hockey), Thomas Searl (Hockey), Jack Skinner (Hockey), Toby Collins (Hockey), Ryan Dunford (Hockey), Joseph Tanswell (Hockey), Chloe Carty (Hockey), Cody Kirk (Indoor Hockey), Finnley Neilsen (Rugby League), James Robinson (Bowls), Jorja Simpson (Rugby 7s).
