… the Christmas message won’t be “Messy”, but the jury is still out on the actors.
Following the success of Ian and Marion Unger's outdoor Christmas presentation last year it was decided to hold a similar event at Unger's this Christmas.
A community group is staging a humorous nativity play on Wednesday, December 19 at 6pm.
Whilst the presentation will be light-hearted, the traditional Christmas message will be maintained.
Some of the host of "messy" actors are Sherree Rosser, Roel ten Cate, Katrina Harris, Time Keith, Rhonda Brain, Ken Keith, Jay Quince, Cliff Cowell, Donald Orr, Laurie Crowley and Mal Westcott.
Also, we are hoping that members of the newly founded, highly enjoyable community choir will be joining us to sing a few songs.
Again, this is an outdoor event at Unger's, corner of Jones and Redmond Streets, Parkes.
Everyone is welcome to this evening that promises to be one of "messy" fun, frivolity and family togetherness.
Please bring a chair, rug, family and friends. Children may come dressed as shepherds or angels.
The organisers are indebted to Anglicare for sponsorship in both funding and physical assistance.
Ian and Marion Unger have set up a wonderful nativity scene, again, which will remain for several weeks. Ian suggested that folk may like to use the scene as a backdrop for a family or children photo and use it in a Christmas card or email message.
