No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on the Newell Highway just north of Parkes last Tuesday, November 27.

Emergency services were called to the scene, one kilometre north of Bogan Road, at 3.40pm.
Initial investigations suggest a 2017 silver Mitsubishi SUV, travelling south, crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided head on with a northbound 2004 purple Holden Crewman utility.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a forty-six-year-old male from Clarence Town, had three passengers in the car – two were transported to Orange Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Holden Crewman, a 63-year-old woman from Glenrowan, Victoria, and her female passenger were taken to Parkes Hospital, also with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Newell Highway was closed for seven hours, with traffic control measures in place.
The NSW Police Crash Investigation Unit attended the scene.

Investigations are continuing into a break and enter overnight on Wednesday.
Unknown offenders smashed a door panel to gain access to an office premises in Clarinda Street.
Four computers, and iPad, a shredder and a laminator were stolen and internal doors were damaged.
The items are valued at $12,800.
