At the November monthly meeting of PDJCA held at the Parkes Services Club on Monday, November 12 it was revealed that Forbes u14 teams, in particular the Forbes KMWL team have been playing over aged players. Forbes Junior Cricket have apologised for this error and have elevated the players concerned to the u17 level, causing the abandonment of the U/14 KMWL and creating a four team u14 competition for the remainder of the season.
Forbes Junior Cricket has then formed two u17 teams with nine players a side similar to the numbers of the two Parkes teams. With these changes the draws for both u17s and u14s have been redone for the remainder of the season.
Point scores for the four team u17 competition will begin this weekend, point scores for the four team u14 competition will remain as is for the games already played with KMWL (U/14) losing all points after being withdrawn from the competition.
