School News: WOW! What a day! Thank you to all our friends and family who joined us for NAIDOC day on Friday, we had a fabulous time. A big thank you to the team who joined us from The Dubbo Aboriginal Education office and to Mrs Lindsay for her organisation and Mrs Hinchley for being our wonderful chef on the day.

Helping Hand: Volunteers Needed to deliver Meals on Wheels in Tullamore. Meals on Wheels pays $6 a day to help with the cost of fuel. Deliveries are in town only, Monday to Friday, from 12 noon. Some days only one delivery other days up to four. Looking or casuals to fill in when the regular person can't do it. Please let Helen O'dea or Sally McMahon know if you are interested in volunteering for this position.
Trundle
Special Guests: Last Tuesday the students in years K-4 participated in the CatholicCare ‘Dad’s In Schools’ program. The students invited their Dads, Grandfathers, Uncles, etc to join them in some fun activities and a sausage sizzle lunch. There was an art activity, a Lego challenge, a game of French cricket and sandpit play. The Dads and students were treated to a sausage sandwich for lunch. All the students thoroughly enjoyed having their Dads come to school.
Yummy Event: Trundle Central School is having a Curry Night on Saturday, November 24 at the Trundle Golf Club starting at 7pm. Bar facilities will be available. $10 per plate for 12 years and under. $15 per plate for 13 years and over. Phone 6892 1303 to book your spot. Bookings close November 19 at 3pm.
Volunteers Needed: to assist with Day Centre setting up morning tea and making tea and coffee. When? Fridays 9.30am – 10.30am when you are available at Trundle Services and Citizens Club. Trundle Community Day Centre is a social group which meets for a chat and fun activities. For more information please call Julie on 6892 1157.
Street Stall: The Royal Far West will be having a street stall on November 16 in Trundle's Main Street. Come along for some home baked treats and grab a raffle ticket or two from Robyn for four people to stay in Manly, Sydney for a week. Just $2 a ticket. Street stall will run from 9am till they run out of food!
A Memorial Service for the late Phillip Elger is to be held at Trundle War Memorial Hall on Saturday, November 17 at 10.30am. All are welcome.
Trundle Surgery: Christmas and New Year opening hours. The last open day will be Thursday, December 13 and will reopen in 2019 on Wednesday, January 2.
