Marg said cancer touches all of us in some way, either directly or indirectly.
“It is about as indiscriminate as it gets and it has certainly changed my life, and the lives of mine and my Partner’s families,” Marg said.
Marg is hosting the Movie & Markets Night in collaboration with the Forbes Memorial Services Club.
“I’m very grateful to David and the girls at the club, they have been so supportive and just jumped straight on-board with my idea,” she said.
The night will start from 5pm on Saturday, November 24, with the markets, followed by the screening of Ladies in Black at 7pm.
Tickets for the movie are $25 and include a complimentary drink and nibbles – doors open at 6.30pm.
“There are limited tickets available so it’s very much a case of first in best dressed,” Marg said.
“For those who miss out on the movie there are some wonderful stalls already on offer and room for more.
“The club is hosting their massive toy raffle the same night and the ham raffle is up and running again between now and Christmas, so there is plenty on offer for everyone.
“Any winning raffle tickets and prizes will be saved until after the screening for movie goers.”
