Here at the Parkes Bowling and Sports Club we want to acknowledge the efforts and generosity farmers have given in order for our club to be about to celebrate is 100th anniversary.
So now is the time to show our gratitude for what farmers have done for our club and our region by putting on a Charity Day on Sunday, November 4.
It starts a noon with a BBQ lunch, then barefoot bowls and futsal taking place during the afternoon.
Everyone is welcome, on the day there will be raffles and prizes from a $300 fuel voucher, dozen bottles of wine and a $100 meat tray.
Local businesses have gratefully helped us with their donations so come down and support the farmers. The money raised goes to St Vincent De Paul to be distributed locally.
Contact the Parkes Bowling and Sports Club and put in a team or we can team you up with someone on the day, everyone is welcome!
So come roll a bowl or kick a ball for charity on Sunday, November 4 from 12pm.
Cost is $20 for lunch and a kick or a bowl with all funds distributed locally.
If will be a fun filled afternoon shared together while raising much needed funds at the same time.
