The maintenance work will take place between Narra Street and the Peak Hill Hospital and will involve strengthening the road and surface repairs to provide a smoother road and improve safety for all road users.
Work will be carried out between 7am to 5.30pm from Monday, September 24 to Thursday, September 27 , weather permitting.
For the safety of workers and motorists, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours, which may affect travel times.
Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic control and signs, including reduced speed limits.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions.
