Congratulations to Siara, Sabrina, Riley, Sophie, Trevor and Sam who represented Tullamore at the PSSA Western Athletics Carnival. Siara, Trevor and Sabrina ran their little hearts out in extremely warm conditions. Riley and Sophie jumped consistently over three metres in long jump and Sam threw well in discus. Sam placed third in shot put with a massive distance of 8.85m and Sophie placed third in high jump, clearing 1.18m. Sam and Sophie will represent Western Region at the PSSA State Championships in October.

Thursday, September 20 at the Tullamore Shed in Haylock Street Tullamore there will be another great Drought Smoko. 10am-12noon. Very informal and It's FREE!!
Hosted by Central West Local Land Service the Local Agronomist Phil Gray will be there and bring along your nutrition questions for Local Vet Erica.
Tullamore has a new Doctor in Dr Tich who will operate out of the Hinkler Street Rooms on Monday and Thursday. He will be in Tottenham on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The Pharmacy will continue to dispense under Dr Rick Newton. Call the surgery for appointments.
Expressions of interest for Dance classes have been put out to start term two next year with Trudy Cook. Toddlers thru to adults. Various styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Flexability and Stretch, Strengthening and Conditioning. You can find Trudy on Face Book. Trundle UHA Art Exhibition
An Art Exhibition by past and present local artists will be held on Saturday, October 6 at the Trundle CWA Rooms between 10 am and 4pm.
On display will be art of various mediums by local identities including china painting and art by the late Mrs Beth Turner. Mrs Turner was an award winning artist in many local Shows and CWA state competitions.
Some of this collection has never been on public display before. There will also be art from the late Mr Bruce Leonard’s family’s personal collection and of course modern day artists from the Trundle District.
We will also have for sale postcards hand painted by the late renowned artist Mr John Lennox born in Melbourne in 1941, he studied at the National Gallery School, the George Bell School and in Europe.
Known for his colourful landscapes and horse paintings, he has exhibited in Melbourne and is represented in the Queensland Art Gallery.
John Lennox died in 1996.We have also very kindly being loaned some of his very valuable art work for our exhibition.
Historical photos of activities over the past years and children’s art will create a lot of interest for those attending. Admittance is $10 which includes morning and afternoon tea and a light luncheon.
We will have a lucky door prize and raffle and as well as a voting competition for the most popular artist. Please come along and support this major fundraiser for the United Hospital Auxiliary Trundle Branch so that we may provide much needed items for the patients and residents of the Trundle MPS.
