Painting Group members Kim Chambers and Helen Huntly presented a cheque for $1000 to CDS Chair Neil Unger.
“Currajong Disability Services are continually getting surprised by the generosity of local groups, it’s pretty humbling,” Neil said.
“We have a very strong relationship with Parkes Painting Group and naturally we are extremely grateful and happy to partner with them on any pursuit and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.
“It’s another example of the excellent support the Parkes community has given Currajong this year.”
Helen Huntly said the funds from the exhibition always go towards a local charity or cause.
“Parkes Painting Group are very pleased to present this donation to Currajong Disability Services,” Helen said.
“We are able to raise the money from the raffle tickets and door sales and also a percentage of the artwork sales.”
