The 1.2metre x 6m metre 3D ‘Parkes’ lettering was recently commissioned by Parkes Shire Council as part of Council’s brand activation strategy.
The larger-than-life lettering made its first appearance at the Inland Rail Conference held in July, and more recently provided an Insta-worthy backdrop during the Silver City Stiletto stop-over in Parkes on its way to the Broken Heel Festival.
Parkes Shire Council’s Brand and Marketing Manager, Katrina Dwyer said, “we engaged Mega 3D Signs to bring our destination brand to life, adding an element of vibrancy at our special events, as well as promoting the Parkes region as a destination through brand activation.”
“The new Polystyrene lettering is designed be interactive when used at events, and we encourage people to engage with the installation by taking a snap and sharing the experience across their social networks.”
Made from expanded polystyrene foam, the lettering is rigid but light weight and weatherproof, making it very versatile and easily transportable for a range of community and corporate events.
