A 48-year-old Parkes man was taken to hospital after a single vehicle accident on Thursday night.

The man was driving a white Mitsubishi Magna west on Grenfell Street when the vehicle crossed to the incorrect side of the road, mounted the curb, drove through a fence and dislodged a water main.
Officers spoke to him at the scene before he was taken to Parkes Hospital where he had blood taken for analysis.
Police are conducting further investigations.

A vehicle parked in Pholeros Lane was maliciously damaged on Friday night.
The red Mazda 3 was parked in the lane between 6.30pm and 9.30pm.
When the owner returned to the vehicle they discovered a round dent in the drivers door and a smudge mark on the bonnet.
Police will view nearby CCTV in an attempt to identify those responsible.

A colorbond fence was maliciously damaged at an address in Orange Street between 4pm on Wednesday and 8am on Friday.
Unknown offenders threw approximately four litres of red enamel paint on a number of the fence panels and the house.
Investigations are continuing.
