May Whiley-Jones and Allan Jones have been spending some time in the Trundle-Tullamore areas, visiting family and friends. May has had a great time catching up with former tennis players at the Day Care on Friday mornings. They play cards or sit around and have a chat and May and Allan joined in and had a great time with them. May also caught up with her favourite school teacher, Colin Wheeler.

Trundle Royal Far West Sunshine Club is holding a Bingo on Sunday, August 19 at the Trundle Golf Club, starting at 10am. There will be raffles, a lucky door prizes as well as prizes for the winners of the bingo draws. Lunch is available to buy. Join in the fun at the Trundle Gold Club

Trundle Central School P and C invite you to our ‘Country Fair’. Friday, August 31 from 1.30pm-6pm.
Saturday, September 1
Trundle Bush Tucker Day, with National Bush Cook Championships, is on Saturday, September 1 at the Trundle Showground. The gates will be open from 8am. Aussie Rock Legend, Richard Clapton, will be featured and Ranger Nick will give demos on camp oven cooking. There will be bush games, sheep shearing and dog jumping.
Sunday, September 2
Royal Far West Sunshine Club invites you to join us for an Old Time Dance on Sunday, September 2 at the Trundle Memorial Hall from 2pm to 4pm. Dance to the wonderful music of Phil Redenbach or just enjoy afternoon tea. Lots of prizes as well as children’s prizes. Cost is $10 for dancers and $5 for non-dancers. For a family ticket it is $20.

Trundle United Hospital Auxiliary will be having a meeting on Monday, September 17 and the last meeting of the year will be on Monday, November 19.
