The 2018 theme was “Today’s schools – creating tomorrow’s world”, and Relieving Principal Mrs Coral O’Neill, addressed the school community about the recognition by NSW public schools to equip young people with the capabilities to succeed in a globalised world.

Mrs O’Neill spoke of the how the key ideas of Education Week are embraced at Parkes East, where the aim is to ground student’s education in real world learning, develop a growth mindset and integrate advanced technology to create future-focused learning spaces.
