His selection follows the NSW CCC State Championships that were held at St Marys in Western Sydney in May.
The 15-year-old left for the famous heritage Edmund Rice Retreat at Mulgoa, Penrith on Monday, July 9, where he will spend the rest of the week undertaking intensive training and playing a number of games.
On Tuesday the side will travel to play Canterbury Bankstown at Peter Moore Oval in Belmore, before heading to Wollongong on Thursday to play Illawarra.
Friday, July 13 will be a big day for the team as they play Penrith in the curtain raiser for the Penrith versus Cronulla game at Penrith Park.
The camp concludes on Saturday.
And it doesn’t stop there for Neilsen.
He’s been invited by the Penrith Panthers to spend a week of training during the next week of the school holidays at their million-dollar high performance unit to further enhance his league career.
