The day dawned bright and sunny after a damp Saturday.
Ten teams lined up to compete in a four person Ambrose event.
All had great fun teeing off first and tenth with a base ball bat, putting the second and 11th with a cricket bat to name a few.
The girls in the kitchen were kept busy supplying a generous amount of food to the participants.
Teams from Parkes and Forbes were successful in taking home the prizes.
First was Simon Housten’s team with a net score of 53.5
Second was the team with Blake and Myles Smith at the helm. Their net score was 58 and three eighths.
Third was Phil Barnard’s team with 63.25 but hot on their heels in fourth position was Brendan Besgrove’s team with 63.5
The raffle prizes were won by Bogan Gate people – Don McKeowen, Barbara Pascoe and John McDonald.
Brett Blunden was the successful bidder on the Three Stooges T-Shirt auction which was donated by the Bogan Gate Hotel.
Thanks to Eddie and Cindy!

Funding is split between two distinct project types: Participation projects – that deliver a sport or physical activity participation experience to an identified group of people, and facility development projects – building new or upgrading sport and recreation facilities.
